We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide savings estimates
- Deliver payment processing services to your practice
- Communicate about your account, including onboarding and support
- Send relevant outreach about our services to practices by email or phone. We never use text messaging consent for marketing.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers who assist in delivering our services (such as our processing partners), but only as necessary to operate your account. All of the above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text Messaging (SMS)
Summit Payments runs a text message program for patients of the dental practices we serve. When you call a practice that uses our phone receptionist and agree out loud on the call to receive texts, we collect your name, mobile phone number, and the details needed for the text, such as the balance amount you confirmed. We keep a record of your consent, including the date and time of the call.
We use this information only to send the texts you agreed to: secure iPOS Pays payment links and links to save a card on file for that practice. Message frequency varies, usually one or two messages per request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, email [email protected], or call (844) 701-2738.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the service providers that deliver the texts for us, such as our text messaging provider, and only to send the messages you asked for.
Card details you enter on the secure iPOS Pays page are entered directly on that page. Our receptionist never asks for or takes card numbers by phone or text.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Payment processing is handled through PCI-compliant systems.
